Yoga Classes for Every Body

Happy new year, everyone!

We’re excited to get back in the studio and hope you are too! Here’s a glimpse of what’s happening currently at the studio. For details, please see our full schedule.

The studio is open immediately before and after classes, and from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Fridays.

Rest & De-Stress: Yin, Massage and Aromatherapy: Treat yourself to this deluxe restorative yoga offering! In this workshop we will combine restful, rejuvenating yin yoga with healing massage and aromatherapy for the ultimate post-holiday treat. Come with a friend or give as a gift. No yoga experience necessary. Space is limited.  Instructor: Yeva Glover. Massage by Shannon Rue, Mountain Massage Studio. Sunday, January 21. $45  CLASS FULL! CONTACT US TO JOIN THE WAITING LIST. 

MORNING SELF-PRACTICE: Beginning Friday, Jan. 5, Full Circle will offer drop-in self-practice from 9 – 10 a.m. on Fridays. There will be no instruction, but an instructor will be on hand to answer any questions. This is a great opportunity to develop your home practice. Suggested donation $2 (toward our scholarship program).

 

PRENATAL YOGA STARTS JAN 6.  Designed to support a woman’s physical, mental and emotional health through all stages of pregnancy, birth and early motherhood. Instructor Yeva Glover.  A six-week series, Saturdays 11:45-12:45, from Jan. 6 to Feb. 10.  DROP IN AVAILABLE!

 

 

TAKING REGISTRATION NOW! for KID YOGA classes.  They’re designed to promote healthy bodies and minds through physical, cognitive and creative practices. In this non-competitive environment, we’ll explore mindfulness, yoga postures, breathing, games and relaxation. Our goal is to build awareness, confidence and healthy bodies, as well as to give kids the tools they need to better cope with life stresses. Starts February.

 

Hot Yoga: ‘Tis the season for coming in from the cold! Check out our hot yoga classes, held Tuesday and Thursday evenings (5:30 p.m.) and Saturday mornings (10 a.m.).

 

 

 

full-circle-yoga-140Warm Yin,  Tuesdays, 7 pm.   Yin is both a gentle and encompassing yoga practice that is designed to literally open the body, peeling away layers of tension, stress and injury that reside within.  A gentle approach is used to stretch the body, using longer holds to get beyond the muscle tissue into the connective tissue, the fascia of the body. All poses are seated or reclined. The slower nature of this practice is often described as a “moving meditation”.  A great compliment to your regular practice. Suitable for all levels.

 

ManYoga is underway as well!   ManYoga is just that, gentle basic yoga with a focus on easing stiff muscles, enhancing flexibility and relaxation.  Mondays from 8:30-9:30 pm, and Tuesdays 10 am (in Telkwa).
