Yoga Classes for Every Body


Spring is upon us and we’re getting excited for some warmer temps and sunshine! Please be aware of schedule changes over the school break. The best way to avoid disappointment is to pre-register for classes. This also allows us to contact you in the case of last-minute cancellations!

Here’s a glimpse of what’s happening currently at the studio. For details, please see our full schedule. The studio is open immediately before and after classes.  Office hours are Tuesdays & Thursdays noon-2 pm and Saturdays 9:30-noon (we will resume opening Fridays, 9 a.m. to noon, in mid-April).

PUBLIC TALK: on the ‘Aura of Happiness’.  Everyone is welcome to join self development educator Philip Ponchet from the Inner Peace Movement of Canada.  On the agenda: Tools to relax more and trust what we innately know, How trusting your intuition leads to discovering your purpose,  Living in harmony with what you think, feel, and do, plus a Demonstration on sensing and directing positive energy in your life. Talk lasts 11/2 hours.  Tickets at the door, $21.  1:30 pm March 14.

The Wild Woman Project is at once a philosophy and a growing movement of courageous, creative, heart-centred women on a mission to remember, to reimagine what it means to be a woman — untamed. With an eye toward the greater good, a love for the natural world, and a tendency for loud belly laughs, The Wild Woman Project aims to weave a web of radiant, creative & loving women who live from the heart and open to every moment. Our mission is to awaken women to their most authentic, undomesticated nature, so they may feel like themselves, all the time, no apologies. DROP-IN PRENATAL RESUMES APRIL 7!  Designed to support a woman’s physical, mental and emotional health through all stages of pregnancy, birth and early motherhood. Instructor Yeva Glover. Saturdays, 11:45 a.m. – 12:45 p.m.


SMITHERS BELLYDANCE     A class of women together learning bellydance, a focus on movement, practice and posture with a goal to perform in small venues around the valley. Sleep deprivation and stress can be a vicious cycle. We often have trouble falling asleep from being worried and anxious, which in turn makes us even more stressed as each day passes. By lowering stress levels, calming the mind and relieving physical tension in the body, this soothing practice is an effective natural sleep remedy. We will be melting into the perfect blend of yin and restorative yoga paired with breath to activate your parasympathetic nervous system to help counteract all that stress so that you are finally able to catch some zzzz’s. March 21-April 26, six-class series, $95, 8-9:15 pm

YOGA FUNDAMENTALS 2        Use the skillset attained in part 1 to dive deeper into the exploration of your foundational Yoga practice. We will be breaking down more energetic standing & heart opening postures while gaining more understanding as to their deeper relationship with both the mind and body. This is a workshop style class, lots of space for questions and discussion as we work from where we are in that moment as we support and assist each other through the process. March 21-April 26, six-class series, $95, 6:30-7:45 pm

FLOW INTO UNDERSTANDING     You’ve got your yoga foundation set, now let’s take it to the next level and apply your skillset into fluid movement. In this progressive class we will explore what it feels like to flow while exploring your connection of breath to more dynamic sequencing and pose variations. Every other week we will break down intermediate to advanced poses and sequencing with the week following being used to actually apply that knowledge into a real class-like setting! May 2-June 6 Six-class series $95 6:30-7:45 pm


MOM-AND-BABY YOGA: This six-week series starts April 11 and runs Wednesdays, 12-1 p.m., until May 16. Recommended ages are three months to crawling, but babies outside this range are welcome to attend—moms might have to modify their practice a little. Email us with questions. Wednesdays, April 11-May 16, 12-1 p.m. Instructed by Amanda Follett Hosgood.


Register now for our upcoming SIP & STRETCH SERIES! From April to June, we’ll be offering beer yoga (BV Brewery), wine yoga (Full Circle studio) and coffee yoga (Bugwood Bean). Join us for a yoga practice followed by a tasting of these delicious libations. Dates are April 15, 5 p.m.; May 26, 5 p.m.; June 10, 10 a.m. Cost for series is $70; prices for individual classes vary.

MORNING SELF-PRACTICE: THROUGHOUT THIS WINTER Full Circle offers drop-in self-practice from 9 – 10 a.m. on Fridays. There is no instruction, but an instructor is on hand to answer any questions. This is a great opportunity to develop your home practice. Suggested donation $2 (toward our scholarship program).






Warm Yin,  Tuesdays, 7 pm.   Yin is both a gentle and encompassing yoga practice that is designed to literally open the body, peeling away layers of tension, stress and injury that reside within.  A gentle approach is used to stretch the body, using longer holds to get beyond the muscle tissue into the connective tissue, the fascia of the body. All poses are seated or reclined. The slower nature of this practice is often described as a “moving meditation”.  A great compliment to your regular practice. Suitable for all levels.


ManYoga is gentle basic yoga with a focus on easing stiff muscles, enhancing flexibility and relaxation.  Mondays from 8:30-9:30 pm, and Tuesdays 10 am (in Telkwa). NEW TELKWA SERIES STARTING SOON!





Just Dance is an opportunity to connect with yourself, body, mind and spirit; to let go of fears; to move freely in a judgement-free environment. Just Dance is held in a safe space, where people from all walks of life are invited to come together, take off their socks, shed their inhibitions, and just move with the music. Fridays, 8-10 pm. Entry by donation.
