NEW! STARTING MONDAY: FLOW AND LET GO
Starting in February, Naomi Nyuli leads a Monday morning practice that weaves together a variety of postures that focus on stretching and strengthening with therapeutic principles that blend restorative yoga, breath work and meditation. Register here. Mondays 9:15 am.
SIP & STRETCH SERIES
Our Sip & Stretch series continues with wine tasting on Saturday, March 15 ($35), followed by beer sampling in April ($25) and coffee cupping in June ($20). Register for one or for the series for $70.
ARM BALANCE WORKSHOP Join Yeva to learn alignment and structure for common arm balances and variations. Playful and invigorating! Some yoga experience recommended. Sunday, Feb. 24. 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. $30.
MOM-AND-BABY YOGA Having a hard time fitting in a yoga practice? Mom-and-baby yoga offers the chance to move your body, bond with your baby and enjoy the company of other moms-with-babes. No yoga experience necessary. Wednesdays, 12 p.m., Feb. 27 – April 10.
WIND UP THE WEEK
Sandra Cooper teaches a Hatha flow class that will focus equally on strength and flexibility; on building up and letting go. All levels are welcome to explore breath, guided meditation, movement and relaxation. Emphasis will be placed on cultivating inner awareness as well as body awareness. Register in advance here. YOGA FOR HEALTHY AGEING
This introductory class for 50+ addresses concerns related to strength, flexibility, balance, agility, and stress management with a safe & accessible program of yoga poses, breathing practices and introductory meditation. KID YOGA Designed to promote healthy bodies and minds through physical, cognitive and creative practices, we explore mindfulness, yoga postures, breathing, games and relaxation. Our goal is to build awareness, confidence and healthy bodies, as well as to give kids the tools they need to better cope with life stresses. Ages 7 to 13. Six-week series on now, Wednesdays, 4 p.m. — drop in available ($10). Register here.
Core Strength and Body Balance: A Rehabilitative Pilates Mini Series. This therapeutic series will escalate your muscular balance, strength and movement control around the core, hips and shoulders. It takes a deep look at minimizing pain in the body, especially around the low back, neck, shoulders, upper back, hips and knees.
