Yoga Classes for Every Body

Welcome spring!

Here’s a glimpse of what’s happening currently at our studio. For details, please see the full schedule. The studio is open immediately before and after classes. Office hours until mid-May are Fridays 9 am to 12 p.m. and Saturdays 9:30-1 pm.

 

AUGUST MEDITATION RETREAT:  MAY RETREAT CANCELLED DUE TO SNOW!  Registration is now open for our five-day silent retreat, held at an off-the-grid, back country mountain ranch near Smithers. Discover the vast stillness and peace you can experience with wilderness, delicious meals, daily yoga and meditation, and conscious community. To register, visit our retreats pageAug. 30-Sept. 3.

 

Register now for our upcoming SIP & STRETCH SERIES! From April to June, we’ll be offering beer yoga (BV Brewery), wine yoga (Full Circle studio) and coffee yoga (Bugwood Bean). Join us for a yoga practice followed by a tasting of these delicious libations. Dates are April 15, 5 p.m.; May 26, 5 p.m.; June 10, 10 a.m. Cost for series is $70; prices for individual classes vary.

 

INVERSIONS WORKSHOP:   Learn what it means to play and explore upside down! Learn the steps to safely work with headstand, handstand and forearm stand, as well as play with some variations. Let’s flip our perspective, face fear, fire it up and have some fun! Some yoga experience recommended. Sunday, April 29, 11 – 1 p.m. $30. Instructed by Yeva Glover. 

 

 

 

FLOW INTO UNDERSTANDING:   STARTS MAY 9!    You’ve got your yoga foundation set, now let’s take it to the next level and apply your skillset into fluid movement. In this progressive class we will explore what it feels like to flow while exploring your connection of breath to more dynamic sequencing and pose variations. Every other week we will break down intermediate to advanced poses and sequencing with the week following being used to actually apply that knowledge into a real class-like setting! May 9 – June 13, six-class series, $95, 6:30-7:45 pm

 

NEW MOON CIRCLES
The Wild Woman Project is at once a philosophy and a growing movement of courageous, creative, heart-centred women on a mission to remember, to reimagine what it means to be a woman — untamed. With an eye toward the greater good, a love for the natural world, and a tendency for loud belly laughs, The Wild Woman Project aims to weave a web of radiant, creative & loving women who live from the heart and open to every moment. Our mission is to awaken women to their most authentic, undomesticated nature, so they may feel like themselves, all the time, no apologies. Led in Smithers by Kaila Greenlees. Saturday, April 14 5-7 pm; Sunday, May 13, 4-6 pm; Sunday, June 10, 4-6 pm.  

 

MOM-AND-BABY YOGA: This six-week series starts April 11 and runs Wednesdays, 12-1 p.m., until May 16. Recommended ages are three months to crawling, but babies outside this range are welcome to attend—moms might have to modify their practice a little. Email us with questions. Wednesdays, April 11-May 16, 12-1 p.m. Instructed by Amanda Follett Hosgood.

 

DROP-IN PRENATAL  Designed to support a woman’s physical, mental and emotional health through all stages of pregnancy, birth and early motherhood. Instructor Yeva Glover. Saturdays, 11:45 a.m. – 12:45 p.m.

 

 

Warm Yin,  Tuesdays, 7 pm.   Yin is both a gentle and encompassing yoga practice that is designed to literally open the body, peeling away layers of tension, stress and injury that reside within.  A gentle approach is used to stretch the body, using longer holds to get beyond the muscle tissue into the connective tissue, the fascia of the body. All poses are seated or reclined. The slower nature of this practice is often described as a “moving meditation”.  A great compliment to your regular practice. Suitable for all levels.

 

ManYoga is gentle basic yoga with a focus on easing stiff muscles, enhancing flexibility and relaxation.  Mondays from 8:30-9:30 pm, and Tuesdays 10 am (in Telkwa). NEW SERIES STARTING in Telkwa and Smithers after May 15!

 

 

MORNING SELF-PRACTICE: THROUGHOUT THIS SPRING Full Circle offers drop-in self-practice from 9 – 10 a.m. on Fridays. There is no instruction, but an instructor is on hand to answer any questions. This is a great opportunity to develop your home practice. Suggested donation $2 (toward our scholarship program).

 

 

 

 

 

Just Dance is an opportunity to connect with yourself, body, mind and spirit; to let go of fears; to move freely in a judgement-free environment. Just Dance is held in a safe space, where people from all walks of life are invited to come together, take off their socks, shed their inhibitions, and just move with the music. Every second Friday, 8-10 pm. Entry by donation.
