MARCH 3:  EIGHT LIMBS OF YOGA: Don’t miss this opportunity to delve more deeply into the practice of yoga with a talk by Roger Jaques about the eight limbs of yoga. Roger spent over a decade of intense direct training with his heart teacher Geshe Michael Roach at Diamond Mountain Retreat Centre in Arizona. His passion is in providing practical applications on the seemingly esoteric Yogic & Buddhist philosophies for our busy lives. Saturday, March 3, 4 – 5:30 p.m. By donation. 



MARCH 9-11:  TRAUMA INFORMED YOGA TRAINING at Full Circle in Smithers   Created to empower yoga teachers and movement instructors to build trauma-informed classes for people facing multiple barriers in their lives including domestic violence, ptsd, addictions, and mental health challenges. Participants will develop an understanding of trauma and ptsd, how to create a safe space for students, “invitational language”, understanding and managing potential triggers, teaching tools for self regulation.  Participants are eligible for Continuing Education credits through Yoga Alliance and BCRPA. THERAPEUTIC YOGA CERTIFICATION in PRINCE GEORGE: Jamie Mathiasen of the Canadian Institute of Therapeutic Yoga and Jaylene Pfeifer, Chinook Yoga in Prince George, are offering an 850-hour, two-year Therapeutic Yoga Certification starting in April. MORNING SELF-PRACTICE: THROUGHOUT THIS WINTER Full Circle offers drop-in self-practice from 9 – 10 a.m. on Fridays. There is no instruction, but an instructor is on hand to answer any questions. This is a great opportunity to develop your home practice. Suggested donation $2 (toward our scholarship program).





Warm Yin,  Tuesdays, 7 pm.   Yin is both a gentle and encompassing yoga practice that is designed to literally open the body, peeling away layers of tension, stress and injury that reside within.  A gentle approach is used to stretch the body, using longer holds to get beyond the muscle tissue into the connective tissue, the fascia of the body. All poses are seated or reclined. The slower nature of this practice is often described as a “moving meditation”.  A great compliment to your regular practice. Suitable for all levels.


ManYoga is gentle basic yoga with a focus on easing stiff muscles, enhancing flexibility and relaxation.  Mondays from 8:30-9:30 pm, and Tuesdays 10 am (in Telkwa).




Just Dance is an opportunity to connect with yourself, body, mind and spirit; to let go of fears; to move freely in a judgement-free environment. Just Dance is held in a safe space, where people from all walks of life are invited to come together, take off their socks, shed their inhibitions, and just move with the music. Fridays, 8-10 pm. Entry by donation.
