HOT YOGA      Stretch, sweat, move your body, and experience the ‘yoga glow’ afterward. Play in the heat to tone muscle, detoxify, and calm your mind.  This is an all-level class but not suitable for beginners who are pregnant or injured. Tuesdays 5:30 pm, Thursdays 5:30 pm, Saturdays 10 am.

 

 

WARM YIN   Yin is both a gentle and encompassing yoga practice that is designed to literally open the body, peeling away layers of tension, stress and injury that reside within.  A gentle approach is used to stretch the body, using longer holds to get beyond the muscle tissue into the connective tissue, the fascia of the body. All poses are seated or reclined. The slower nature of this practice is often described as a “moving meditation”.  A great compliment to your regular practice. Suitable for all levels. Tuesdays, 7 pm.

 

PRE-NATAL YOGA  Discover a nurturing yoga practice that will carry you through the stages of pregnancy and labour.  This is a pre-registered class that runs in six week sessions.  New series starting Sept. 22! View schedule to book. 

 

 

 

Core Strength and Body Balance: A Rehabilitative Pilates Mini Series.   This therapeutic series will escalate your muscular balance, strength and movement control around the core, hips and shoulders. It takes a deep look at minimizing pain in the body, especially around the low back, neck, shoulders, upper back, hips and knees. Email instructor Hannah Barnes at hannahbarnesphysio@gmail.com for more info and to register. Six-week beginner class starting Monday, Sept. 26 and eight-week beginner/intermediate class starting Wednesday, Oct. 1. 7:15-8:15 pm.

 

STRETCH & STRENGTHEN   An invigorating, alignment-based Hatha class that will help cleanse your system and calm your mind.  Suitable for active beginners through to intermediate students. Mondays 5:30 pm,  Wednesdays 5:30 pm in Smithers.  Thursdays 7:15 pm in Telkwa.

 

 

ManYoga is gentle basic yoga with a focus on easing stiff muscles, enhancing flexibility and relaxation.  Tuesdays 10 am in Telkwa. 

 

 

 

 

AUGUST MEDITATION RETREAT:  FULL!

Summer is back and so is our Summer Asana Challenge! All summer long, snap pics of you striking a pose in some stunning location and post it to our Facebook page. The contest closes end of August and we’ll be displaying the top 10 in our studio for you to vote on throughout September. The winner receives a 12-class pass at the studio… so what are you waiting for?! Get out there!

 

 

 

 

Moment’om: Yoga and Movement in the Park returns for another season! Join yoga, dance, Pilates and other wellness instructors from our community for this free practice, happening every Wednesday over the noon hour at Bovill Square, Main Street, Smithers. For more information, follow the Facebook page.

 

 

 

MORNING SELF-PRACTICE: Full Circle offers drop-in self-practice from 9 – 10 a.m. on Fridays. There is no instruction, but an instructor is on hand to answer any questions. This is a great opportunity to develop your home practice. Suggested donation $2 (toward our scholarship program).

 

 

 

 

 

Just Dance is an opportunity to connect with yourself, body, mind and spirit; to let go of fears; to move freely in a judgement-free environment. Just Dance is held in a safe space, where people from all walks of life are invited to come together, take off their socks, shed their inhibitions, and just move with the music. Every second Friday, 8-10 pm. Entry by donation.

TAKING REGISTRATION NOW! for KID YOGA  Designed to promote healthy bodies and minds through physical, cognitive and creative practices.
